Dear Underwood Baptist Church Leadership,

Below you will find a proposal for a curated tour of the Holy Land for Underwood Baptist Church community on suggested dates: March 2-9, 2025.

In 2015, I visited Israel for the first time and fell in love with the land, people, culture, and history. I was hooked and I wanted to bring as many friends as possible to experience the Holy Land. After 20+ years of church ministry and event planning alongside Passion Conferences, I now have the joy of curating trips through my small business, Shiloh.

Shiloh was born out of a desire to reimagine Holy Land travel and to create space and significant moments for people to meet with Jesus on their journey throughout the land of the Bible with thoughtful planning and design. We work with a local team of experts who help implement each tour and connect our guests to the best hotels, restaurants, and fresh opportunities.

Thank you for the opportunity to present this tour proposal to your team. I have included some of our signature curated specials that will elevate your experience. ITINERARY

Day 1 | 03/02/25

Arrive in Tel Aviv. Light touring for those who arrive early. Enjoy a welcome dinner and stay over night in Jaffa/Tel Aviv area.
Day 2 | 03/03/25

Tour Caesarea Maritima and enjoy lunch overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Continue toward Galilee with stops at Mt. Carmel and Nazareth Precipice. Dinner and overnight in Galilee.
Day 3 | 03/04/25

Optional sunrise hike on Mt. Arbel overlooking the Galilee. On this day we will visit Capernaum, Beatitudes, and Magdala. Enjoy a chef prepared private picnic lunch catered and set up the Mount of Beatitudes hillside. Dinner and overnight in Galilee.

Day 4 | 03/05/25

Head north to Caesarea Philippi and Mount Hermon. Tour the newly excavated towns of Hippos and Kursi. End the day with a sunset worship boat ride on the Sea of Galilee with charcuterie and drinks. Dinner and overnight in Galilee.
Day 5 | 03/06/25

Begin your journey south with stops at Nazareth Precipice overlooking Jesus’ childhood town and enter into Bethlehem to experience the Shepherds fields and Church of Nativity. Get your first look of the old city of Jerusalem as you settle into your hotel just outside the city walls of the Old City.
Day 6 | 03/07/25

Continue south to experience the Judean Desert. Tour Shiloh, float in the Dead Sea and learn about the Dead Sea Scrolls at Qumran. And end your day celebrating Baptism in the Jordan River. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 7 | 03/08/25

Begin the day at the Mount of Olives, enjoy communion together in a private area of the Garden of Gethsemane. Take a guided tour through various parts of the Old City sites such as Pools of Bethesda, Via Dolorosa, Pilates Palace, Holy Sepulcher, Cardo, etc. End the day with a special rooftop dinner overlooking the old city at sunset.
Day 8 | 03/09/25

Savor a slow morning on your last day in Israel. Visit the Garden Tomb and celebrate the Risen King! Visit the Valley of Elah and a farewell dinner on your way to the airport for late night flights home. (Fly out after 10pm)
