Below you will find a proposal for a curated tour of the Holy Land for your Wellspring community on suggested dates: September 15-23, 2024

In 2015, I visited Israel for the first time and fell in love with the land, people, culture, and history. I was hooked and I wanted to bring as many friends as possible to experience the Holy Land. After 20+ years of church ministry and event planning alongside Passion Conferences, I now have the joy of curating trips through my small business, Shiloh.

Shiloh was born out of a desire to reimagine Holy Land travel and to create space and significant moments for people to meet with Jesus on their journey throughout the land of the Bible with thoughtful planning and design. We work with a local team of experts who help implement each tour and connect our guests to the best hotels, restaurants, and fresh opportunities.

ITINERARY

Day 1 | Sunday 09/15/24

Arrive in Tel Aviv. Light touring + exploring in Jaffa for those who arrive early. Enjoy a welcome dinner, connect with the guests and stay over night at Setai Yafo area.
Day 2 | Monday 09/16/24

Begin the morning with a welcome session at the hotel to give guests time to acclimate. Head up the coast to tour Caesarea Maritima and enjoy lunch overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Allow guests to paddle board in the sea (*add on cost). Continue toward Galilee with stop at Mt. Carmel overlooking the Jezreal Valley. Check in to Setai Galilee and enjoy dinner and drinks.
Day 3 | Tuesday 09/17/24

Early morning sunrise hike up Mt. Arbel to overlook the Galilee. On this day we will visit Capernaum, Beatitudes, Peters Primacy and Magdala. Enjoy a chef prepared private picnic lunch catered and set up the Mount of Beatitudes hillside. Dinner and overnight in Galilee.

Day 4 | Wednesday 09/18/24

Allow guests to have slow morning to reflect and enjoy the amenities at the Hotel and swim in the Sea of Galilee. Late in the afternoon we will tour the newly excavated towns of Hippos and Kursi. We will end the day with a sunset boat ride on the Sea of Galilee with wine and charcuterie. Surprise food truck dinner after the boat ride. Head back to hotel to enjoy dinner and overnight in Galilee.
Day 5 | Thursday 09/19/24

Check out of hotel and begin the journey south with a stop overlooking Nazareth and Cana and private reflection time on the precipice. Enter into the West Bank to visit stops in Bethlehem - Shepherds Field, Church of Nativity, local lunch and shopping. Check in to the David Citadel for dinner before setting out on foot for a late night walk to the Western Wall. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 6 | Friday 09/20/24

Today we will explore the ancient sites of Shiloh, Qumran and have some fun floating in the Dead Sea. We will return to Jerusalem to get ready for Shabbat. The group will split up into smaller groups and join local families for a Shabbat dinner in their home.

Day 7 | Saturday 09/21/24

Begin the day at the Mount of Olives celebrating communion together in a private area of the Garden of Gethsemane. Then enter the old city gates to explore Bethesda and sites along the Via Dolorosa. Give guests several hours of free time in the old city to shop and explore before gathering for rooftop dinner at Notre Dame. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 8 | Sunday 02/22/25

Early morning Temple Mount visit. Tour the City of David and some unique sites not open to the public with a renown archeologist. In the afternoon enjoy teaching and worship on the Southern steps. We will end the night with an epic dinner in the Judaean Desert. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 9 | Monday 02/23/25

Guests will rise early to worship together in the Garden Tomb. We will then return to the hotel for late checkout before heading to the Valley of Elah for a final teaching session. Our time will end at a beautiful farewell dinner at a local winery to celebrate and share stories of the week. Head to airport for late night flight home. (flights after 11pm)
